this is a collab i did with two other photographers. Set up is one light from the left upper corner on the model and the bread, and one lamp with umbrella peeking over the left wall.
location is the ikea store in delft.
Good use of color - the pink keeps the image from being too drab/boring. It helps bring out the mood without hurting the image.
Hurrah for bread. ^_^

"Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light."
This is a really sad image. It's obviously her birthday and she has no other guests, no other gifts than the one (which I'm betting she bought for herself), not even cake, just bread.
Then theres a deeper meaning about bread and dieting. You can almost see something about the way people don't really eat bread anymore because of those eeeevilll carbs, but she's having it for her birthday in lieu of cake. Also it's interesting that no one is around to see her eat it.
I dont know which was your intent, but this is a really emotionally charged photo. It actually almost doesn't look like a photo, it looks like a digital painting. Lovely work. Give my best to the two other photographers.
ps- I love ikea. It's sad, but I really do.

This is really professional-looking. I like how there's sort of a lack of colors other than pink, and the present on the counter is a nice subtle touch.
